Thank you for the fast delivery.. I wanted to get my brother, an enthusiastic home cook, something that would really impress him. Knife that gets the job done!

It takes me forever to chop meat and carrots into tiny bits. My old knife helps, of course but it still gets stuck. The first time I used Syosaku gyuto kitchen knife.. it was the best! EFFORTLESS I must say.. I don’t have to fight with my food anymore haha and I can finish chopping in half the time. Knife isn’t just about sharpness right? I got my first Japanese gyuto knife from Syosaku a few months ago. It instantly raised the bar for every knife I’ve ever used. I am so impressed with the quality, so I decided to get another one. Honestly, I thought I’d keep them as part of a collection, but I find myself reaching for them every time I cook. They're a beautiful addition to my kitchen making kitchen tasks easier. After using this knife, well... I just realized that having a gyuto chef knife really does improve my cooking. I used it to slice a brisket! After spending hours smoking a beautiful cut of meat, who would want to ruin it with a dull knife right? Haha not me! So as I was cutting the brisket, I couldn’t help but smile as it slid thru like butter. The best part? It didn’t tear the meat apart! The knife feels light and the handle is easy to hold. Effortless Slicing with a Handmade Japanese Knife

Product was in perfect condition when it arrived. I never expected to be so excited about a Gyuto chef knife, but here we are. The first thing I tried was something very simple, slicing Spam for breakfast. By itself, my old knife would squish it a bit and leave an ugly mess. But with this handcrafted chef knife, I hardly needed any force at all. I well glided through as if I was cutting butter, yielding me perfectly clean slices. I've been saving up to buy a gift for my mom for this year's Valentine's, instead of just chocolates (which she loves btw) I wanted to get her something she can use everyday. I found this Japanese shop online and from my very first encounter with the Syosaku Gyuto, I knew it was special. The product came perfectly packed in bubble wrap. My first test? Slicing an orange. 9.5-inch Gyuto knife

Whoah! This one's a huge knife. It's a 9.5-inch Gyuto knife. I like that it's lightweight despite the size the grip is super comfortable-so easy to handle. What really sold me, though, is how low-maintenance it is. I chopped vegetables and meat and since it’s dishwasher safe, I don’t have to stress about rust or special care. Yeah, it’s a bit of an investment, but considering I no longer waste money on dull knives every few months, it’s totally worth it!

I wanted a special gift for my brother for his wedding. He loves japanese art and cooking, but everything I see online is too predictable or ordinary Then I saw a Youtube video about Syosaku Damascus steel knife. My husband absolutely loves it! I got this gyuto chef knife as an anniversary gift since we both enjoy cooking, and I can already tell it’s going to make our time in the kitchen even better. while slicing veggies and meats. My Friend Was Right About This One

A buddy of mine collects handmade kitchen knives, so when I told him I was looking for a solid upgrade, he pointed me straight to Syosaku. The package arrived, and the first thing I noticed (aside from the satisfying bubble wrap pop LOL 😂) was how polished this gyuto chef knife looked. It felt amazing to hold.. light but strong.. like it was built for serious work. I put it to the test right away with a whole chicken, AND MAAN, it sliced through like I was cutting a soft fruit.

It's 3 weeks in now, but the edge is still scary sharp.

Very useful knife to have in your collection

The newest knife in my growing collection of Syosaku knives is a Japanese Petty knife, which is slightly bigger than a paring knife but a very useful knife to have in your collection. Made from Damascus ZA18 steel with an octagonal shaped magnolia handle and a 6-in Long Blade, it's Rockwell hardness is between 62 and 63.

I would recommend this knife to anyone. The craftsmanship on this knife is top level.

My go-to knife is the Syosaku Guyto 7-inch chef's knife. It's incredibly well-balanced. I just love how easy it is to handle. The design of the grip makes it very comfortable to use no matter how much dicing, slicing, or chopping I need to do. Although the knife feels light in my hand, it's incredible sturdy when cutting through food. The blade cuts straight, which is more than I can say for other knives I've used before. No matter whether it's a quick rough chop of vegetables or if i need something more precise, this knife makes the work feel effortless. with precision.

In addition to the performance of my knives, they have to be practical to maintain. And if you're like me, and use your go-to knife every day, it has to be easy to clean and doesn't need to be sharpened all the time. This is that knife. Not only does it get the job done, but very minimal effort in maintaining the integrity and quality of the blade. That's super important to anyone who prepares food frequently.

I would recommend this knife to anyone. Whether you're a serious home cook or more novice, this knife will make the work so much easier. At first, I was skeptical of this Handmade Knife

At first, I was skeptical. This small brand isn’t as famous as the big names, but I gave it a shot because I wanted a handmade kitchen knife without paying a fortune. And wow! This knife proved itself fast.

Most knives in this price range usually dull or rust too fast, but this Japanese gyuto knife holds up without constant care. The missing bolster makes handling it easier, and the balance feels just right..steady without being too heavy. It’s light enough for controlled cuts but has enough weight to feel solid. Even after chopping a whole batch of onions, carrots, and squash, my hands didn’t feel strained at all.

I respect brands that focus on quality over hype, and Syosaku does just that.

A 100% Quality Real Japanese Damascus Knife

I spent weeks researching before buying a new Damascus chef’s knife because I wanted something legit, none of that ‘Japanese-style’ branding on a knife that’s actually made in China. This one is the real deal. Handmade in Japan, razor-sharp out of the box, and the Damascus steel pattern is absolutely stunning. The Mahogany handle feels premium, and the knife is perfectly balanced. I actually enjoy chopping now, which I never thought I’d say!

My Japanese chef knife from Syosaku-Japan which is handcrafted from stainless steel and has a very sharp and precise blade, I really use it a lot in the kitchen with the precision of the blade I can cut any kind of ingredient.

It is perfect to get many slices similar to my honey mandarin pork tenderloin, which despite being tender and tender, I managed to get nice slices.

Okay, so I did some digging before buying this. YES, it’s actually made in Japan (not some knockoff). YES, it’s super sharp right out of the box. NO, it’s not one of those $300 handmade knives, but unless you're a sushi chef, do you really need that? This is a solid, well-balanced Japanese kitchen knife that holds its edge way longer than anything else I’ve used. No regrets.

The knife is fantastic well balance well build, and even better, i had to ask a question to the customer service, i was really please when i received the answer lest then 8 hours after writing to them.
